about
We build one thing, and we build it to be checked
EnsureFix turns tickets into pull requests without a person in the middle. That is a large amount of trust to ask for, so this page is the reasoning behind the product rather than the story of the company.
positions
Five things we decided early, and what each one cost
Every one of these closed off an easier way to build the product. They are the reason it is shaped the way it is.
01
An agent that cannot explain itself cannot be trusted with production code
so
Seven layers of reasoning trace, recorded per run and attached to the pull request. Not a confidence percentage, but the actual chain: which files were ranked and why, what the reviewer objected to, which rule the scanner tripped.
See what a run records02
One model reviewing its own output is not a review
so
The pipeline is split across specialised agents, and the one that reviews the diff is not the one that wrote it. It arrives at the change with no memory of having produced it, which is the only arrangement where the review means anything.
Why six stages and not one03
Source code is a liability to hold, so we do not hold it
so
Runs execute in a workspace created for that run and destroyed after it. Nothing is written to a database, a cache or a backup. What persists is metadata and an audit trail, which is the minimum required to answer for a decision later.
Where your code goes04
A margin you cannot see is a margin you cannot trust
so
In a self-hosted deployment you hold the provider account, so inference is billed to you directly at whatever rate you have with them. We are not in the middle of it and take no cut. The product records what each run consumed so the bill is checkable against something.
How the bill works05
Autonomy without a stop condition is just a faster way to be wrong
so
Confidence is scored before anything is applied, and two of the three outcomes end with a person rather than a commit. Nothing force pushes, nothing reaches your default branch, and a blocked change takes an explicit acknowledgement to override.
What happens when it is wrongconstraints
Four things this product will not do
Written down so they are harder to quietly reverse later.
We will not train on your code
Not now and not as a later change of terms. The learning engine calibrates weights from your accept and reject decisions, which is a signal about our output rather than a copy of your input.
We will not merge for you by default
Auto merge exists for teams that ask for it on low risk changes. It is off until you turn it on, and reading the diff stays a person's job.
We will not claim a certification we do not hold
EnsureFix has no SOC 2 attestation. We keep the readiness material — an evidence map and a filled CAIQ — and we hand it over for vendor reviews saying exactly that, rather than pointing at our hosting provider's certificate and hoping it reads as ours.
We will not quote a customer we do not have
There are no logos, testimonials or usage figures on this site, because inventing them is the cheapest thing a company can do and the hardest to undo.
how the work is divided
Seven teams, and you can tell which one wrote what
Every article on this site is signed by the team that owns that part of the product, so a piece about model calibration comes from the people who calibrate models.

where we are
Two offices, one product
Written questions reach the team faster than a meeting request. Security and compliance reviews go straight to the people who own the answers.
the shortest way to judge this
Run it on something you already gave up on
Positions are easy to write. Pick a ticket that has been open for months and watch what the pipeline does with it.
